TRAINING

In order to train horses already started sometimes new language between horse and rider has to be established to ride horses in classical style.  To many horses are communicated with to harshly, abruptly, or not treated kindly.  Treating a horse in this fashion cannot bring oneness between horse and rider.

Horse and rider should exhibit pleasure when being shown.

Training a horse with out re-educating the rider would be a hopeless endeavor since kindness and good equestrian tact to gain oneness has to be instilled in the rider as well.
Since the year 2000, great efforts internationally had been made to prevent cruelty especially with devices and helping reins sometimes leaving damaging results in the horse's muscle system.  The expression to train a horse for show riding being different than pure classical riding has to disappear from the vocabulary of the average dressage rider.

In the world competition now days we see excellent performances in classical riding.
If classical riding as a training method is not established from the start how can horse and rider wind up at the top doing classical riding?
